Effective Date: October 9, 2026
POS Media Europe s.r.o. (formerly POS Media Global Services, s.r.o.), a company incorporated and existing under the laws of the Czech Republic, having its registered office at Budějovická 778/3, Michle, 140 00 Praha 4, the Czech Republic, ID no.: 289 91 575, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 158379 ("us", "we", or "our") operates the POS Media ShopApp mobile application, including its test version POS Media ShopApp Test (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Service is the POS Media ShopApp mobile application for Android and iOS operated by us. The Service is a work tool for persons who install and maintain our materials in shops. User accounts are created by us; users cannot register in the Service themselves.
Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).
Location Data is data about the geographical position of your mobile device, determined by the location services of the device.
Usage Data is technical data sent automatically when the Service communicates with our servers (for example, the version of the Service and the type of your mobile device).
Data Controller means the natural or legal person who (either alone or jointly or in common with other persons) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal information are, or are to be, processed.
For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, we are a Data Controller of your Personal Data.
Data Processor (or Service Provider) means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Data Controller.
We may use the services of various Service Providers in order to process your data more effectively.
Data Subject is any living individual who is using our Service and is the subject of Personal Data.
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
While using our Service, we process the following personally identifiable information ("Personal Data"):
Username and password, used to sign you in
First name and last name
Work records: start and end times of work sessions, odometer readings, notes, answers to tasks, skipped tasks and requests with their descriptions, together with the shop and campaign they belong to
Photos you take with the camera or choose from the gallery of your device for a task or a request
The password is not stored on your mobile device. The Service keeps a sign-in token, your user ID, username and name in the secure storage of the device.
Photos taken with the camera are also saved to the gallery of your mobile device. Before uploading a photo, the Service saves it again, so location data stored in the photo by the camera (EXIF) is not uploaded.
We will not use your Personal Data to contact you with any form of newsletters, marketing or promotional materials.
We collect Location Data when you start and when you finish a work session. While a work session is open, the Service checks the location of your device approximately every 5 minutes and records it when you have moved more than 500 m from the last recorded position.
The Service uses your location only while the application is open, never in the background. The Service also uses your location on your device, without sending it to us, to show the nearest shops and the distance to them.
With every request to our servers, the Service sends its version, the manufacturer and model of your mobile device and the version of its operating system. Our servers also receive the IP address of your mobile device.
The Service does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies and does not use the advertising ID of your device. The Service contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools and shows no advertising.
We use the collected data for various purposes:
To provide and maintain our Service, to sign you in and to show you your assignments
To record the work done in shops: where and when the work was done and what was done, with photos as proof
To keep records of work sessions and the routes travelled during them
To handle the requests you send from shops
To provide support
To detect, prevent and address technical issues
If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it.
We may process your Personal Data because:
We need to perform a contract with you
The processing is in our legitimate interests, in particular organising and checking the work done for our clients, and it is not overridden by your rights
To comply with the law
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Data that has not been uploaded yet stays in the Service on your mobile device until you synchronise. When you sign out, the Service first uploads it and then removes your work records and sign-in data from the device. Photos saved to the gallery of your device stay there until you delete them. Uninstalling the Service removes its data from your device. If backups are turned on on your Android device, the system may include the data of the Service in the backup.
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to - and maintained on - computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside Czech Republic and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Czech Republic and process it there.
We will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organisation or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.
Your Personal Data is available to the persons within our company who organise and check the work, such as coordinators, and to the IT staff who operate the Service. We do not sell your Personal Data and do not share it for advertising.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
We may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
To comply with a legal obligation
To protect and defend our rights or property
To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
To protect the personal safety of users of the Service
To protect against legal liability
The Service transfers all data to our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Your Data Protection Rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. We aim to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete or limit the use of your Personal Data.
If you wish to be informed about what Personal Data we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us.

For more information, please contact your local data protection authority in the European Economic Area (EEA).
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), provide the Service on our behalf or perform Service-related services.
These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
On Android devices, the Service determines the location of your device with Google Play services and shows maps with Google Maps, both provided by Google. https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

We do not use analytics services in the Service.
The Service asks for the following permissions on your mobile device:

Camera: to take photos for tasks and requests
Photos: to choose photos from the gallery and to save camera photos to it
Internet access: to download assignments and upload your work
We provide Service for free.
We will not store or collect your payment card details.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
