History

POS Media Europe was formed as IMIGe, Czech Republic, fourteen years ago with the objective of maximising the potential of retail media space. With a primary focus on Point-of-Sale advertising, the company quickly expanded into Hungary, Slovakia and Poland. Headquartered in Prague, the company rebranded as POS Media Europe and opened offices in Ukraine and Turkey.

In 2011 a strategic partnership was signed with HighCo, France, giving POS Media a reach of more than 300 million consumers across Europe and the expertise to launch couponing services in Central Europe.

Later, in the autumn of 2011 the company enters into a joint venture with andré media in Germany creating POS Media Germany. A dedicated office is opened in February 2012 in Munich.
