POS Media announces strategic partnership with HighCo
In a move that will establish the largest Point-of-Sale media agency in Europe, POS Media and HighCo joined forces at the end of June, 2011.
Created through HighCo’s acquisition of a 48.25% stake in POS Media Europe, the new partnership will operate in 10 territories – the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Turkey, Spain, France, Belgium and the UK – where both companies represent major retail outlets and provide advertising solutions for the top 100 European advertisers.
Headquartered in France, HighCo offers operational, communication and data-processing marketing solutions for retailers and consumer goods brands designed to attract consumers and build their loyalty.
As a pioneer in digital marketing, the company also invests heavily in R&D through HighCo Lab. The Group employs nearly 800 staff in France, Benelux and Spain, and is listed in compartment C of NYSE Euronext Paris.
With a primary focus on Point-of-Sale media solutions, POS Media is, like HighCo, a key player across Europe for in-store media solutions and field marketing services, and the new partnership allows both to reach more than 300 million consumers.
Sharing their expertise and experience will enable both companies to introduce new services for clients and retail partners. These include ‘couponing’ and, together, the partnership will create a coupon clearing organization in Prague for the Central European region.
